SUBZONE INTRODUCTION (TUN DR. ISMAIL)
The implementation of Public Sector 5S Practices at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) is an approach that is appropriate and well received by all University residents. UMK residents have made the transition from 5S Practice to the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) as one of the efforts to realize the transformation program and strengthening of public services.
EKSA was introduced as a rebranding initiative for Public Sector 5S Practices taking into account the need to highlight a systematic, comfortable and conducive workplace environment so that it is more relevant to public sector departments/agencies in Malaysia. The main components in the implementation of EKSA are still based on 5S Practices which have been improved with the addition of several new elements, namely corporate image, creativity and innovation, green practices, conducive environment and diversity of responsibility centers.
The Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) has been named as Tun Dr. Subzone. Ismail under the Chancellery Zone located on Level 3, Chancellery Building, UMK Bachok and is divided into:

To cultivate EKSA culture within the UMK community continuously to create quality services through a conducive work environment, work culture and values that become the practice of all the people in the university.
